Marinsa, committed to its communities

On December 4, #Marinsa de México carried out the donation of:

•25 mattresses to Casa Hogar Villa de la Caridad A.C., an institution dedicated to providing care, accommodation, and comprehensive support to 25 vulnerable older adults.

•40 mattresses to Casa MAKA, a Support Center for Childhood Cancer.

• 60 mattresses to Casa Hogar San Pedro A.C., a shelter that cares for individuals of different ages with mental disabilities and without family support.

• 30 mattresses to Asilo Nuestra Señora de Lourdes, a non-profit civil institution committed to providing shelter and care for elderly individuals.

This initiative not only extends the useful life of the mattresses but also underscores our environmental commitment. Rather than disposing of them following the recent renewal carried out during the dry dock maintenance of the vessel Lagunero, we chose to give them a second life, as they remain in optimal condition.

At Marinsa, we firmly believe in social responsibility and in the importance of contributing to the well-being of the communities in which we operate, supporting initiatives that improve the quality of life of those who need it most.
